Curious About Helping to Install Art at an Exhibit?
This is a great way to learn about hanging art, develop or refine your skills and meet other CAS artists.
When answering a Call for Art, indicate in the Comment box that you can help to hang or email the Venue Coordinator directly.
Curious About Becoming a Venue Coordinator?
As a Venue Coordinator, you do not need to pay the CAS commission for any sale at any CAS Venue (note: if the venue charges a commission it must still be paid). Additionally, one jury fee per year is waived. Serving as a Venue Coordinator is a great learning experience and it is fun to meet other CAS volunteers. It is also an opportunity to make contacts with gallery and business owners, develop event coordinator experience and is a good addition to your resume.
It’s easy to become a Venue Coordinator, there are only two easy steps!
1) Help hang at a rotating or special event exhibit.
2) Become an assistant/trainee Venue Coordinator for six months (or two exhibit rotations)

We have a great group of hardworking volunteers, it is a great learning experience and also looks good on your resume.
