I am an Austin based artist and I love to paint. I truly enjoy the play of light and shadow that can be achieved through wet on wet Oil painting. https://www.facebook.com/cpowellstudio [email protected] |

I am a self taught painter living and working in Austin, Texas. Although I dabble in many subjects my inspiration comes mainly from sea life and the ocean. I am a certified scuba diver and I always had a fascination with the alien-like creatures in the ocean. I originally went to college to become a Marine Biologist. I also grew up fishing and hanging out on the Texas beaches and I love painting the variety of shapes and vivid colors that abound. I paint in a traditional realistic style using Oil and acrylics. My goal is to send the viewer to a part of the world that most never see in real life. It is said that humans know more about outer space than we do about our own oceans and what we do know is fascinatingly alien and beautiful to me. I want to make this accessible to all through my paintings. www.clarksartstudio.com [email protected] |

Earth gets new life in form of plants and colorful flowers, as spring comes. Spring cleaning can be synonymous to cleansing of the mind and starting of new life with brighter outlook. Keeping that in mind I created this piece with cheer and bright flowers surrounding the homes. [email protected] |

My Photo entry, Austin Pink Sunset, is my #1 viewed image on Fine Art America from among nearly 1000 Photo & art images. It is signed, comes with 8x10 back for easy framing, and is all enclosed in an acid free sleeve. My 2 acrylic paintings are both 10x20 on canvas, heavily textured, and are among my series of abstract color field works. Information about my series and other acrylic art can be read on my site at - https://felipeadanlerma.com/tag/adans-acrylic-paintings/. My color field series are a result of merging my many painting interests from the 1980s (acrylics), 2010s (Oils), through - more recently - watercolors. At 71 years of age, I feel blessed to have this as a continuing source of joy and inspiration. https://www.FelipeAdanLerma.com [email protected] |

Carefully attentive to the play of forms, I draw from immediate pleasures underlying everyday visual experience. Rhythms of line, rhymes of color and spatial relationships, unexpected vitality in “inanimate” objects, all make each work fresh, dynamic, and emotionally resonant. Experiences during my various travels find their way to my sketchbook, from whence they’re turned into paintings. JVfinearts.com [email protected] |

As a paper artist, I make my own paper and I use found paper for creating picture and collages. My pieces include images of almost anything - people, animals, objects, and the world around me. Some come from my dreams! Reflecting on how to use paper to share my mind's eye stretches my imagination, vision, and intelligence. Creating with paper is drawing, painting, writing and sculpting all at the same time. My wish is for viewers to say, It looks good on paper! www.maggimiller.com [email protected] |
