call for art - heart from cas
The Creative Arts Society is offering an opportunity for artists to give back by giving thanks to our essential workers. It is a small, yet powerful gesture to create original pieces that embody the gratitude that we have for this tireless working community, especially during these unsure times. We want them to remember that others in the community know they are absolutely fabulous and we have a deep appreciation for those who risk their lives for us each day. HeART from CAS is about recognizing and appreciating front line and essential workers such as nurses, doctors, aides, custodians, laboratory technicians, administrative staff, cafeteria staff, store personnel, delivery drivers, trash collectors, postal delivery people, etc. – and the incredible work they are doing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
